Thailand cracks down on protests against military rule

Thailand‘s Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha says there will be no election until early next year as protesters gathered on the fourth anniversary of a military coup.

All political activities are banned and some protesters were arrested for calling an end to four years of military rule.

Al Jazeera’s Wayne Hay reports from Bangkok.
