Seoul hopes Singapore summit could lead to peace with North Korea

South Korea is hoping that a summit between the US and North Korea in Singapore could pave the way for a peace treaty to formally end the Korean War.

The two Koreas are still technically at war, with only an armistice signed in 1953 ending hostilities.

Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride reports from Seoul.
