Nasdaq aims for back-to-back records as stocks open mixed
The Nasdaq Composite opened slightly higher Tuesday, following through on the previous session’s record close as other major indexes posted a flat open. Tech shares led gains Monday as investors focused on a strong U.S. economic backdrop and worries about trade tensions faded. The Nasdaq rose 0.2% to 7,621.60, while the S&P 500 flipped between small gains and losses, recently trading down less than 0.1% at 2,746.70. The Dow industrials were off 10 points at 24,804.
