Twenty years after the fall of Indonesia‘s former leader General Muhammad Soeharto, the gap between rich and poor has never been wider.

Despite two decades of democracy and political freedom, some say the reforms have failed to bring real change.

Corruption is widespread within the parliament, while political parties are ruled by family dynasties.
