
Dr Pepper earnings fall as soda volumes rise
Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. DPS reported its first-quarter earnings Wednesday. Here’s what you need to know: EARNINGS: The drinks company reported net income of $159 million, or 88 cents a share. That is down from $177 million, or 96 cents a share, a year ago. REVENUE: Dr Pepper posted revenue of $1.59 billion, more than the $1.57 billion analysts expected.
