The toxic effects of mercury dumped in a river in Canada continue to harm indigenous communities five decades on.

A new report has linked contaminated fish to adverse effects on the people of the Grassy Narrows First Nation.

Many are suffering from learning disabilities, experiencing grave health problems – and even dying prematurely.
