Apple unveils macOS Mojave operating system with dark mode, cleaner desktops

Apple Inc. said during WWDC Monday that its new Mac operating system would be called Mojave. It will have a “dark mode” that makes album art, photos, and emoji look crisper. Mojave will also feature “dynamic desktops” that change throughout the day. Additionally, a “stacks” feature for the desktop will group the content by date, file type, or tag. Mojave will make it easier for users to create a single PDF out of a group of photos and quickly add a watermark to the document. The Apple News, Voice Memos, and Stocks apps are coming to the Mac through the new operating system. Apple shares are up 0.8% in Monday trading, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 0.7%.
